Sleep in and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the Traube? A delicious bakery breakfast at our neighbor, Drei Könige? Indulge in a hearty feast at Café Hotel Appenzell? Or simply grab a roll from the bakery and head straight out to the Alpstein?

You decide. Every morning anew.

We serve our “Traube” light breakfast starting at 9 a.m. and, if ordered in advance, until 5 p.m. the evening before.

If you’d rather plan your breakfast before you arrive, you can book one of our breakfast packages directly when you reserve your room—we’ll take care of the table reservation.

Dinner
If you wish, we can reserve a table for dinner in our à la carte restaurant.
Half board can be booked for three consecutive nights or more for CHF 50.00 per person/day.

Tuesday evening and Wednesday is our day of rest
On Tuesdays evening and Wednesdays our restaurant ist closed, also for hotel guests.
Breakfast will be served in the Drei Könige l on these days.

Appenzell Holiday Card
For three consecutive nights or more, we will give you the Appenzell Holiday Card with many great discounts and free offers.

Parking spaces
Two parking spaces are available behind the Traube for our hotel guests. If these are all occupied, public parking spaces are only a few minutes’ walk away.

Internet
WLAN is available in the whole house and free of charge.

Hotel room
Our hotel rooms are non-smoking and are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the house. The Traube does NOT have a lift.

Pets
Pets are not allowed in our hotel rooms. We thank you for your understanding.

Housekeeping
No housekeeping is available on wednesdays.
